Outer Banks Season 3 Cast: Who's Returning and Who's New?
Along with the renewal, a press release seen by What's on Netflix indicates that Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shanon Burke will return as showrunners and executive producers.

In June 2022, we received news of three major new casts for Outer Banks Season 3 via Deadline.
New cast members to be introduced in the future include:
- Andy McQueen (station eleven) will play Carlos Singh described as a smart, polite and ruthless Caribbean don, and on his own treasure hunt.
- fiona dove (from Netflix Z-command) will play Sofia, who identifies as Pogue but secretly yearns to be part of the country club crowd. Friendly and fiery, she begins to form a close bond with Rafe.
- Lou Ferrigno Jr. (star girl) will play Ryan in Season 3. Described as calm and collected yet young and hungry, he is Singh's best security guard and enforcer. He's done enough work to keep a cool head, but he also knows what could happen if he fails.

What is the production status of external banks season 3?

In December 2021, we reported on the revealed filming dates for external banks season 3. Filming dates are subject to change, but as it currently stands, filming for season 3 will begin in Charleston, SC on February 16, 2022 and continue through August 19, 2022.
You will now notice that the series is actually set in North Carolina, but is filmed in South Carolina. This is due to various regions, including Netflix's initial objection to the toilet law.

Why the delay in a renewal? Well, we don't officially know why the renovation took so long, but we can look back on previous renovations that took so long for this reason.

It's likely that the war between the Camerons and the Pogues will continue and that Pope will want the now-stolen gold cross back. Pope, while fleeing the large ship, says "it's not over" as they seek refuge on a remote abandoned island. Jonas Pate, Josh Pate and Shannon Burke also said that while the Pogues are depressed, they're certainly not suggesting they go straight back to gold hunting.
Regarding the romance situation in Season 3, Madelyn Cline told ET that hopefully we'll learn more about their marriage, saying:
“It would be really fun in Season 3, if we get one, to see them really start to really get to know each other in a very real sense. They are married, but they don't really know each other. I feel like that would be so much fun. They obviously went through a lot together. »
