WrestleMania 37 wasn't just a win for WWE but for humanity. After a year of being confined under lockdown, wrestling fans thronged to Raymond James Stadium with masks and sanitizers to witness history in the making.
There was very little to complain about from the first night. Not even rain could stop this horde of wrestling enthusiasts from enjoying WWE WrestleMania 37 to the fullest. Thankfully, everyone in the locker room wanted to go out and deliver too!
Everything came together in a grand way and every match delivered, so to speak. It's unfair to tear apart WrestleMania after such a performance from the participants involved, but Best and Worst dishes out criticism where it is due.
But let's begin with the good news first!
#1 Best: Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair were the real stars at WWE WrestleMania 37

Sasha Banks made Bianca Belair at WrestleMania. It was almost like how Ric Flair broke Sting into the business, making him look like a million bucks, increasing his value manifold overnight. Comparisons are being made between Sasha Banks and Ric Flair, and as much of a stretch as that seems, she deserves all of the praise. She was not selfish at WrestleMania 37, where she did everything in her power to establish Bianca Belair as the next top-tier performer!

She was the secret ingredient in Bianca Belair's win, who, to her credit, lived up to all the hype. Despite the lackluster build for the WrestleMania 37 main event match on WWE SmackDown, the two women knew that they had to tear the house down. Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, and others are being dubbed as successors to the Four Horsewomen in WWE. And the Horsewomen are now seemingly paving the road for them to succeed.

There was no better way for WWE WrestleMania 37 to get underway this year than with Vince McMahon kick-starting the proceedings. Unfortunately, there was a delay between the initial ceremony and the eventual show because of the rains.

Had the event started right away, WrestleMania 37 would have felt a lot more special than it did with the delayed start. Once it got going, everything was fine, but some of the initial magic was lost instantly.
Sadly, Mandy Rose had to take a spill in the very first botch of the night, although she did recover and perform at the highest level in the match that followed. This was obviously not something that WWE could control, but it sucked the life and joy out of the proceedings.
There would be two more botches through the course of WrestleMania 37 and thankfully, this was perhaps the least embarrassing of all. Kudos to the crowd that literally weathered a storm to support their favorite WWE Superstars.

At WrestleMania 37, it was heartening to see that WWE did not take the safe, the easy, the tried-and-tested road. It would have been far too easy for Drew McIntyre to regain the WWE Championship in front of the crowd, for Bobby Lashley to slide down the card. But no, Vince McMahon took a chance with Bobby Lashley as the WWE Champion and he's running with the experiment!

Similarly, Seth Rollins has been the star of the company for a very long time, and for him to be unselfish and to help Cesaro get his moment under the spotlight was a very big deal. To Cesaro's credit, he and Seth Rollins wrestled the perfect match at WrestleMania 37. It's up to WWE to help Cesaro reach the next level, carrying this momentum forward.
And what a relief it was to see Braun Strowman defeat Shane McMahon at WWE WrestleMania 37. We go into the new (wrestling) year with new stars and a whole truckload of momentum.

The worst aspect of WrestleMania 37 was definitely the commentary. And the worst announcer by a mile at WrestleMania 37 was the WWE legend himself, Michael Cole. He called the historic win by Bianca Belair with as much enthusiasm as a Snickers ad. And this is not even counting the major main event botch!
Loved the wrestling and HATEEEEEEEEED the commentary at #WrestleMania. Michael Cole sucked all the life out of what should have been a historic moment with his flat, rehearsed lines.

Michael Cole has an iconic voice, has been a WWE mainstay forever, and he does what is expected of him, but somehow it didn't seem like WrestleMania 37 was his best performance, by far.
The third and final botch of the night happened during the Tag Team Turmoil match when the ring announcer said that the wrong team had been eliminated! It's only human for such a botch and Michael Cole's main event botch to occur, but the monotonous delivery could have been avoided.
Jim Ross and Tony Schiavone may not be in their prime anymore, but at least their delivery seems genuine and heartfelt even now.

At WrestleMania 37 Night 1, Bad Bunny showed the WWE Universe that he wasn't in the company to just collect his paycheck and ride off into the sunset. No, he proved to the entire wrestling world, and beyond, that as a lifelong WWE fan, he wanted to steal the show at WrestleMania 37. He put in the effort, had a great match with 3 seasoned sports entertainers, and probably brought many, many new eyes to the product.
Omos wrestled a very different kind of match against The New Day, but he did the job WWE expected him to. He's certain to be a major force to be reckoned with, going forward.
